Indonesia Arbitration 
Indonesia is a Contracting State to the ICSID Convention:
- Signature: 16 February 1968
- Deposit of Ratification: 28 September 1968
- Entry into Force: 28 October 1968
- Pursuant to Article 54(2) of the ICSID Convention, Indonesia has designated “Supreme Court” as competent for the recognition and enforcement of ICSID awards.
- Pursuant to Article 69 of the ICSID Convention, Indonesia enacted Law No. 5 of June 29, 1968 (Off. Gaz. 32, 1968) to make the Convention effective in their jurisdiction.
- Pursuant to Article 13(1) of the ICSID Convention Indonesia has made the following panel designations effective until 5 July 2010:

Indonesia is a Contracting State to the New York Convention:
- Date of Accession: 7 October 1981
- Entry into Force: 5 January 1982
- Indonesia will only apply the New York Convention to the recognition and enforcement of awards made in the territory of another contracting state & only to differences arising out of legal relationships, whether contractual or not, that are considered commercial under their national law

- Date of Admission: 28 September 1950
- By letter of 20 January 1965, Indonesia announced its decision to withdraw from the United Nations "at this stage and under the present circumstances". By telegram of 19 September 1966, it announced its decision "to resume full cooperation with the United Nations and to resume participation in its activities". On 28 September 1966, the General Assembly took note of this decision and the President invited representatives of Indonesia to take seats in the Assembly.
