Central African Republic Arbitration

Central African Republic is a contracting state to the ICSID Convention:

  • Pursuant to Article 54(2) of the ICSID Convention, Central African Republic has designated “Le Tribunal de Grande Instance” as competent for the recognition and enforcement of ICSID awards.
  • Pursuant to Article 13(1) of the ICSID Convention Central African Republic has made the following panel designations effective until 27 October 1986:
    - Mr. Antoine GROTHE: Procureur Général à la Cour d’Appel
    - Mr. Albert KOUDA: Président de la Cour d’Appel 
    - Mr. Joseph MANDE-DJAPOU: Conseiller à la Cour Suprême

    - Mr. Célestin GAOMBALE: Directeur Général de l’UBAC
    - Mr. Léopold SAMBA: Directeur Général du Commerce
