Argentina is a contracting state to the ICSID Convention:

  • Deposit of Ratification: 19 October 1994
  • Entry into Force of ICSID Convention: 18 November 1994
  • Pursuant to Article 54(2) of the ICSID Convention, Argentina has designated "Justicia Nacional en lo Contencioso Administrativo Federal (the proceeding to be initiated before the Cámara Nacional de Apelaciones en lo Contencioso Administrativo Federal)" as competent for the recognition and enforcement of ICSID awards.
  • Pursuant to Article 13(1) of the ICSID Convention Argentina has made the following panel designations effective until 18 May 2015:
