Rwanda Arbitration

Rwanda is a Contracting State to the ICSID Convention:

• Pursuant to Article 54(2) of the ICSID Convention, Rwanda has designated “Tribunal de Première Instance de Kigali” as competent for the recognition and enforcement of ICSID awards.
• Pursuant to Article 69 of the ICSID Convention, Rwanda enacted the Décret No. 20/79 du 16 juillet 1979 to make the Convention effective in their jurisdiction.
